Day 1
  • Arrival at Sofia Airport, transfer to and accommodation in a 4 star hotel.
  • Sightseeing tour of Sofia, the Central Baths, the Central Halls Covered Market, the Synagogue, the former Royal Palace, the Ivan Vazov Theatre, the House of Parliament, the Sofia University and the churches of St. George, St. Nicola and St. Sofia, as well as the cathedral and memorial church "St. Alexander Nevsky".
  • Dinner in a folk style restaurant and overnight.

    Day 2
  • Breakfast and sightseeing tour to the Boyana Church, the most esteemed monument of the medieval Bylgarian architecture and icon-painting. The church has been reconstructed 3 times during the centuries and is famous for its frescos that were painted in the year of 1259 by an unknown painter.
  • Lunch and in the afternoon visit of the National History Museum.
  • Leisure time, dinner and overnight.

    Day 3
  • Breakfast and departure to the Rila Monastery, the biggest monastery complex on the Balkan Peninsula (outside Aton) and one of the most remarkable monuments of the Bulgarian architecture and art. Sightseeing tour around the complex with visit of the Magernitza and Monastery Museum.
  • Lunch and in the afternoon, departure to the town of Bansko, an old revival town, situated at the foot of Pirin Mountain and "Pirin" National Park. Nowadays Bansko has turned into a modern tourist centre and winter resort, and still it keeps the authenticity of the old times ???‚??? tour around the town and lecture about "Pirin" National Park.
  • Accommodation in a 4 star hotel, dinner in a folk-style restaurant and overnight.

    Day 4
  • Breakfast and departure to the town of Kazanlak. During the journey we visit the second biggest town in Bulgaria ???‚??? Plovdiv and the Architectural Complex "The Old Town Of Plovdiv" famous for the Etnographical Museum, the Antique Theatre and St. Konstantin and Elena Church.
  • Lunch in a restaurant with Bulgarian cuisine and in the afternoon visit of the Thracian Tombs in Kazanlak (IV-III BC), a monument of a world magnitude that has kept unique frescos, depicting the military and everyday life of the buried Thracian leader.
  • Accommodation in a 3 star hotel, dinner and overnight.

    Day 5
  • Breakfast and departure to the seaside town of Nessebar, one of the oldest towns in Europe, situated on a small picturesque peninsula in the Black Sea. Sightseeing tour of the old town, that has preserved over 80 monuments of the culture, remains of antique fortress walls and gates, the Old Bishop`s Residence with St. Sofia Church (V-VI c.), the New Bishop`s Residence with St. Stefan Church (X-XI c.) and others.
  • Lunch and departure to the town of Varna, sightseeing tour with visit of the Cathedral of the Holy Mother, the Roman Spa and Baths (II c.), the Sea Garden with the Planetarium, the Aquarium and others.
  • Accommodation in a 4 star hotel, dinner and overnight.

    Day 6
  • Breakfast and departure to the town of Rousse, the biggest town on the Bulgarian part of the Danube River. The town is known as the North gate of Bulgaria.
  • During the journey, we visit the Historical-archaeological Reserve Madara Knight, which is famous for the rock bas-relief of the Madara Knight, the only one of its kind in Bulgaria and in Europe, dating back to the epoch of early Middle Ages.
  • Then we visit the Srebarna Biosphere Reserve. Time for lunch and in visit of the Museum of Natural Science in the Reserve.
  • Late in the afternoon, arrival in the town of Rousse and accommodation in a 3 star hotel. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 7
  • Breakfast and departure to the small village of Sveshtari and visit of the Thracian Tomb near the village, a cultural monument, dating back III c. BC. It is famous for its sculptures and frescos.
  • Then we go to the village of Ivanovo and visit the Ivanov rock churches, a unique monastery complex with churches and monks, cells made high in the vertical limestone rocks.
  • Time for lunch and in the afternoon we leave for the town of Veliko Tarnovo, the capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom.
  • Accommodation in a 4 star hotel, dinner and overnight.

    Day 8
  • Breakfast and sightseeing tour of Veliko Tarnovo, the Archaeological Reserve Tsarevets Elevation and the Gurko Street, an ancient street with houses from the Revival period and craft workshops.
  • Time for lunch and in the afternoon, we visit of the village-museum of Arbanassi, where you can see unique examples of the Bulgarian architecture from the Revival period.
  • Then we leave for Sofia - accommodation in a 4 star hotel, dinner and overnight.

    Day 9
  • Breakfast, transfer to Sofia Airport and departure.
